Linnea Scott
EmergeNYC Flagship (2025)
Linnea (they/them) is a New York based multidisciplinary theatre artist who was born and raised in Denver, CO. The majority of their work takes place at the intersection of acting, devising, and drag, but they also find great joy in being a clown, writer, director, literal tree-hugger, and observer of life.
They have always been an actor who wants to create, a creator who wants to act. They collaboratively make art that heals and inspires and tickles your imagination and makes you gasp in wonder because you’re seeing something that you never thought was possible to see on stage before. They also make art that is stupid and funny and exists to help build our collective stamina for joy.
Their performing and devising works have recently been seen at Lincoln Center: Education, Theater Row, The 24 Hour Plays Off-Broadway, The Tank, Theaterlab, Center for Performance Research, BAX, and The Denver Fringe Festival. Training: UNCSA BFA in Drama.
