BAX Fall 2026 Space Grant Artists in Residence!
Welcome BAX’s Fall 2026 Space Grant Resident Artists: Anooj Bhandari, Kat Sotelo , Miguel Alejandro Castillo Le Maitre, and Alicia Grullón! The 3–4 month Space Grant Residency supports dance, theater, and multidisciplinary performance artists as BAX’s longest-running artist development program that fosters experimentation, innovation, and creative growth.
BAX’s Performance Workshops for Grades 5-12!
BAX Performance Workshop Ensembles offer committed students a rigorous, collaborative environment to take bold artistic risks, develop their choreographic voices, and create original work within a nurturing ensemble community. T Students are challenged physically, creatively, and collaboratively as they develop both individual artistic expression and a shared choreographic language.
BAX 2026-2028 Artists in Residence!
Established in 1993, the AIR (Artist in Residence) program has supported over 70 dance, theater, and multidisciplinary performance artists across three decades. The program is designed as a process-oriented incubator, supporting artists who share BAX’s commitment to racial and cultural justice, whose work is still in development, and who are eager to deepen their artistic practice within a collaborative, cohort-based structure.
