Rehearsal Rentals

The BAX Building is open for rehearsals generally seven (7) days a week, 9:00a – 10:00p, with some exceptions for holidays and special events.

BAX | Brooklyn Arts Exchange reserves rentals on a first-come-first-serve basis. Space Requests are confirmed once BAX has sent you a confirmation email, including an attached PDF of your bookings. Please do not assume otherwise.

Standard Rehearsal Rates

Peak Hours: $16/hr

Monday to Friday – 6pm – 10pm

Saturday and Sunday – 9am – 10pm

Off-Peak Hours: $10/hr

Monday to Friday – 9am-6pm

Renters must remit payment for their reservations before it begins. All rental payments are non-refundable. Renters should reconcile any outstanding balances immediately, or the Renter risks losing their rental privileges. 

There is a strict 72-hour modification/cancellation policy. Reservations canceled or changed less than 72 hours in advance will be charged.

For all rehearsals canceled within one hour of a confirmed reservation, BAX will waive our cancellation policy.

First-Time Renters must remit payment for their non-refundable $20 Annual Maintenance Fee and first reservation within 24 hours of receiving their confirmation. Please ensure we have received your signed Rental Agreement before arriving for your reservation.

BAX accepts cash, check, or credit card payments, PayPal and Zelle. Renters must renew their Rental Agreement and Annual Maintenance Fee yearly.

Rush Rehearsal Space

BAX offers $8/hr rush space to contracted renters in good financial standing. 

Rush space rates are available for reservations booked on the same day.

Bulk Rehearsal Packages

BAX offers bulk rehearsal packages to contracted renters in good financial standing. Renters interested in Bulk Rehearsal Packages must commit to at least 20 hours/month for a minimum of 3 consecutive months.

Bulk Rates:

Peak Hours: $13/hr

Monday to Friday – 6pm – 10pm

Saturday and Sunday – 9am – 10pm 

Off-Peak Hours: $9/hr

Monday to Friday – 6pm – 10pm

Requirements:

  • 20 hours per month for three (3) consecutive months
  • First month’s balance is due upon contract signing
  • Subsequent payments are due as outlined in your contract
  • Annual Maintenance Fee required, if applicable
  • Our Bulk Rehearsal Package is for Rehearsals only
