Spring 2022 Gender Expression Workshop Series:

Building on BAX’s 2021 Spring family Gender Expression Workshops at PS 261 in collaboration with the school’s Gender Wonder Club and our 2022 Fall professional development workshops with the school’s educators, we are excited to bring a new Gender Expression Workshop Series to the school in Spring 2022. BAX Educator and Drag Performance Artist Kelindah Schuster will facilitate two distinct workshops tailored specifically for educators, families, and children as well as offer an open workshop for caregivers and educators to the broader public to help build collaboration and understanding of play-based gender inclusive teaching and learning practices across the city.  Please see these workshop details and information about how to register below. Each workshop is open, attendance in both is not required but strongly encouraged.

Gender Expression Community Workshops live on Zoom:  

For Educators– Monday, May 9 from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

For Families/Caregivers– Wednesday, May 11 from 9-10:30 a.m.
