BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange hosts an annual Prospective Teaching Artist Workshop (typically in the spring), but is excited to meet and welcomes new teaching artists all year round!

Please fill out the below form to express your interest in teaching with BAX. BAX teaching artists work in a variety of BAX programs, listed below. The strongest candidates will be familiar with BAX’s mission, Education Department Core Values, and programs.

Youth Classes (In House Weekly Studio Classes)
Arts In Education (School Partnerships and Residencies)
School Breaks Arts Program (Seasonal Programming)
Birthday Parties

After completing this form, applicants we wish to interview can expect to hear from a member of BAX’s Education Department staff within approximately two weeks.

BAX’s Education Department actively engages in discussions about how race, class, gender, sexual orientation, and other aspects of identity affect access to, representation in, and experience within all of our programs and curriculum. BAX is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating and developing an inclusive staff team. Disabled, BIPOC, LGBTQIA, and bi/multilingual teaching artists are strongly encouraged to apply.
